Longleaf cluster
- The Longleaf HPC cluster is available to UNC Greensboro faculty, staff and students at no charge,
- You need ONYEN - Only Name You’ll Ever Need - credentials to login on the Longleaf HPC cluster.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) and 2-Step Authentication
- Login to the UNC ITS with your ONYEN + password to download the “Cisco AnyConnect” VPN client:
- Download the Cisco AnyConnect application, after the search for “VPN”
- Follow your, Windows, Mac or Linux, operating system’s intruction to install Cisco AnyConnect Application.
- Type the ‘vpn.unc.edu’ in the VPN section.
- Type
vpn.unc.eduin the VPN section. -
Group Name: UNCCampus
- Enter Username, Password, Second Password (Choose one option as shown on the second image) and complete the next step to establish VPN access.
- Duo is required for 2-step authentication (i.e., the “Second Password”). This is the same product UNC Greensboro uses for 2-factor authentication.
